Church attendance in the United States and Europe has been declining for several decades. The culture and media are saying … Christians are judgmental, hypocritical, divisive, extreme, and irrelevant. Non-Christians often feel and say … I don’t care how much you know until I know how much you care.
Jesus said in John 8:12 “I am the Light of the World”. Then He said in Matthew 5:14 “You are the Light of the World” … urging His followers to shine His light into the darkness. Awhole city reflecting the Light of Jesus in unity cannot be hidden. So let’s be the light … the lighthouses for our neighbors, communities, and cities. Ephesians 4:3-5 says … “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”
It is time for Christian churches … protestant and catholic, denominational andindependent, to set aside their differences and come together in unity and show the unbelieving world that We Care. As Jesus prayed in John 17:20-23, our unity will show the world that Jesus is One with God the Father and they will see that God sent Him to show His love for us.

Christians have a common goal of loving God, loving our neighbors, making disciples of Jesus Christ, and forming loving communities. And we have a common enemy who increasingly wants to seek and destroy by creating disunity and chaos, spreading lies and deceitful schemes.
